Including an objective on your resume neverhelps, and it often hurts. For example, Danielle says her objective is to obtain an assistant curator position at the Baltimore Museum of Art. She's applying for that position, so it's already obvious. Additionally, an objective is all about what you want, not what the employer wants.
Your resume should showcase your experience, skills and accomplishments – all things that reveal how you can help the employer, not how the employer can help you. Instead, provide a brief summary that explains what you're great at and how you can provide value to a prospective employer.
